  6. If desired the fixation light can be placed 
  7. in front of the eye not being examined.  
  8. The arm of the fixation light is used to 
  9. position it; laterally, vertically as well as 
  10. rotating it so the target is towards the 
  11. patient's eye.  The small lever on the 
  12. fixation light can be slide to adjust for the 
  13. patient's refractive error.
